Flash Back

These pictures were taken the end of April 2006 of Kimmie in our front yard enjoying what she still loves now. I just love these pictures of her.

Our beautiful flowers continue to keep Kimmie excited picking them, talking about them, smelling them, cars drive by more slowly now and Grandma and Grandpa came to visit just to see them. Here they are after the nice rain we got today!

I planted 2 crabapple trees last week. Lane will stake them up.

...if only the dirt could stay this weed-free :0)

I also love today because it is my 11-year anniversary since I first went through the Temple to receive my endowments. May 2, 1998 on a Saturday also I went through the Bountiful Temple.

Lane's Family

This is Fred Revis. This is our kids' Great-Grandpa on Lane's side. It is Lane's Mother's Father.

This is Ruby (Nance) Revis. It is Lane's Grandma.

Fred and Ruby Revis just celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary April 1, 2009. Congratulations!! That is quite an accomplishment. (This picture was taken a few years ago.)

Fred and Ruby had 2 daughters. Lane's mom is the oldest, Dianna Ruth Revis Callahan. She married Dale Raymond Callahan January 20, 1973. Dianna's sister is Susie Sims.

This is Dale when he was younger. At the moment I do not have pictures of Dale's parents. But I met his mother a few years ago. She was in a rest home and all I remember is she smiled the whole time and said, about Lane, to Dale, "Looks just like you, except for the glasses." I think she died in September of 2004. Dale's Father died when Dale was around 21-years old. So Lane never met his Grandpa. Dale has 2 siblings. Sue and Anna. I've never met either one.

This picture below is Lane as a little boy. It looks a lot like Jacob.

Meet the Family

Life is busy. Who's isn't?! We have a wonderful family (extended included). We're trying to stay afloat with all the unknowns in the future and living each day the best we know how.
We're going into summer of 2012 with 3 growing happy kids. They keep life fun and interesting. You never know what's going to come out of any of them but you do know that it'll keep you on your toes.

Kimmie is a BIG help for us. She loves to help daddy do ANYthing. She gets straight A's in school and takes piano lessons. She is trustworthy and honest and a leader for good in her little body. We love her very much.

Jacob is our clown. He loves to keep us laughing. We can't keep a serious face when he is in the room. He is cuddly and loves to have lots of attention. He is also the top of his pre-school class excited for Kindergarten in the Fall. We love him tons.

Austin is our "Big Block of Love". He is solid and strong. He isn't afraid to show what he loves. He's got the "goofy" of Jacob, the "brains" of Kimmie and the Fun Cute Personality all his own. He is physically so strong it amazes us. He is also fearless and will jump off of anything and loves to climb the gate to get into the front yard. He's our "into everything every second" child....only he's the 3rd. :) We love him to pieces and enjoy seeing our baby grow.

Mom (I) Love being the woman of the house. I do so many things to keep it running. I gain more appreciation each day for what my Mom did. She did and still does, SO MUCH for me. I didn't realize that the Mother is the one going to school and taking the piano lessons. The Mom is the one cleaning up after everyone and everything. I also learned that by doing all of these things the feelings turn to love and service for those I do everything for. (Along with trying to teach them to do them for themselves ie. make their own bed, pick up own toys etc.).

Daddy works hard every single day for our wonderful family. Even if he's under the weather or doesn't feel like working he does because he loves all of us. He works just as hard being a Dad as he does making a living for us. The kids all LOVE when Daddy Comes Home! Austin always runs to him and says, "Dad--eeee!"
